This website and the Nomadia app are operated by NOMADIA ONE, S.L. (Tax ID B22967509). This page explains which cookies we use, why, and how you can manage them.

  1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They make the site work, remember your preferences and, only with your permission, help us understand how it is used so we can improve it.

    2. Which cookies we use

2.1. Technical (necessary) cookies

These are essential for the platform to work and do not require your consent. They are first-party (set by nomadia.digital) and are not used for advertising.

  • PHPSESSID: keeps you signed in and secures forms. Duration: 1 month.
  • REMEMBERME: keeps you signed in if you choose "remember me". Duration: 30 days.
  • nmd_in: indicates that you have an open session so we can take you straight to the app. Contains no personal data. Duration: 30 days.
  • nomadia_locale: remembers your language. Duration: 1 year.
  • nomadia_onboarded: remembers that you have already seen the app introduction. Duration: 1 year.
  • nmd_explore_dest: remembers the last destination you viewed in Explore. Duration: session.
  • utz: remembers your time zone to display dates correctly. Duration: session.
  • nmd_consent: stores your choice about analytics cookies. Duration: 180 days.
  • flarum_jwt: lets you access the community with the same account. Duration: 1 hour.
  • __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid: set by our payment provider (Stripe) only on payment screens, solely for fraud prevention. Duration: 1 year and 30 minutes.

2.2. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

We use Google Analytics 4, through Google Tag Manager, to obtain aggregated usage statistics (for example, how many people sign up or complete a booking).

  • _ga and ga*: measurement of platform usage. Duration: up to 2 years.

These cookies are only activated if you tap "Accept" on the cookie notice. We use Google Consent Mode, which keeps analytics disabled by default. We do not send your name, email or any user identifier to Google Analytics.

2.3. Advertising cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use advertising pixels (such as Meta Pixel, Google Ads or TikTok) and we do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers.

     3. How to manage or withdraw your consent

The first time you visit, you will see a cookie notice with two options: "Accept" and "Reject". If you reject, no analytics cookies are set and the platform works exactly the same.

You can change your choice at any time from our cookies page (nomadia.digital/en/cookies), using the "Change my cookie preferences" button. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

   4. How to disable cookies in your browser

If you block technical cookies, some parts of the platform (such as signing in) may not work.
